A brand new ‘super’ beach club has been revealed to be opening in Dubai late next year, on the reclaimed Peal Jumeirah island just off shore near 2nd Of December Street, Union House and the Dubai Dry Docks.
Nikki Beach, a luxury brand from the US, will be just one part of a huge new 52,000 square metre resort that will feature a hotel, spa, residences, eateries and state-of-the-art fitness facility.
In total, there will be 117 rooms and suites, 15 beach villas (including one supreme three-bedroom), three restaurants, a VIP lounge, ESPA well-being centre and gym. The beach club itself will stretch along 400 metres of white sands.
Speaking about the announcement, founder and owner of Nikki Beach Worldwide, Jack Penrod, said: “We have been waiting for the right time, location and partners to expand our brand in Dubai and after 10 years of waiting, I am happy to announce that we have finally found the perfect location and the perfect partners (Meraas Holding) to open Nikki Beach in Dubai.”
According to official information released by the team behind the development, the beach club ‘will be modeled after the same stylish, contemporary look and feel as all of the brand’s locations around the world with a pool surrounded by plush, all-white sun beds. Guests will be able to spend their days and evenings indulging in refreshing cocktails and other drinks, and an extensive menu of delectable dishes featuring signature tastes and spices representative of all the countries Nikki Beach is located across the globe. The resort will also boast a California style specialty seafood restaurant located on the beach’.
The brand, which was dubbed, the ‘Sexiest Place on Earth’ by the British media has already grown from its Miami roots to a total of 13 cities in nine countries, including St Tropez, the French West Indies, Marbella, Mexico, Marrakech, Thailand, Ibiza and Bali. They have also hosted pop-ups in Cannes and Toronto.
