Santana returning to Dubai to headline Dubai Jazz Fest
Multiple Grammy winner and all-round music legend Santana will return to Dubai to play the 14th edition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival on February 26. His Latin rock, blues and jazz fusion sound are sure to fill the Media City Ampitheatre with just the right vibe.
He’ll be joined at the festival by 80s powerhouse band Toto – who are responsible for the you-should-be-able-to-sing-along 1982 hit Africa.
Supporting Santana on February 26 will be La Bomba De Tiempo – an ensemble of 17 percussionists from Argentina who improvise on stage via a code of over 70 hand signals. Drums are hypnotising – so we imagine 17 of them in one spot should make for an epic live show.

Meanwhile, the son of a Mexican mariachi musician who transformed into one of the world’s best known guitarists, Santana will be on the road in 2016 as part of his Luminosity Tour, and he’s known for bringing infectious energy wherever he plays live.
Last year he became only the second recording artist to have a top 10 album on the charts for six consecutive decades after the release of his latest album Corazon.
