VIDEO: Check out the Dishoom trailer
The official trailer for Dishoom the Bollywood film that took the capital by storm (and saw actors John Abraham and Varun Dhawan hanging out of a helicopter on Reem Island) earlier this year has been released.
Check out the trailer below – which includes English subtitles for non-Hindi speakers – to see glimpses of the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Yas Marina Circuit and Yas Waterworld.
From the trailer we know the film will revolve around the kidnapping of a top cricketer named Viraj ahead of a highly anticipated India-Pakistan match.
Director of the film Rohit Dhawan explains, “Basically it’s a manhunt that spans 36-hours with two cops from two different countries. An Indian from a special task force [played by John] teams up with this Emirati-Indian rookie [Varun], who is just out of the academy. Both these guys team up on this crazy action adventure and investigation. It’s a buddy cop dynamic that harks back to Lethal Weapon, 48 Hrs., Rush Hour andBad Boys.”
