That Cereal Killer Cafe has now actually opened in Dubai...
Do you consider cocoa pops an essential food group? Read on…
The wait is over, breakfast fans – Cereal Killer Cafe has finally opened in Dubai Mall.
Cereal Killer is a London cafe concept that serves bowls of breakfast cereals for up to Dhs25 a pop. In Dubai the bowls of cereal cost between Dhs26 and Dhs31. You can order everything from a ‘Don’t Have Cinnamon’ (cinnamon toast crunch with apple jacks, curiously cinnamon, honey and milk) to a ‘Double Rainbow’ (froot loops, fruity pebbles, marshmallows and strawberry milk).
Last year’s announcement it was coming to Dubai was met with mixed reactions – with one Dubai cafe owner saying these kinds of ‘fads’ could be damaging to the local food scene.
But Cereal Killer officially bowled (sorry) its way into Dubai Mall over the weekend, setting up shop on the Ground Floor near the Waterfall (with the silver surfers).
We’re declaring this Sugar Rush Saturday – best get to Cereal Killer Cafe asap! Ground Floor, Waterfall Atrium.https://t.co/MQf39PIazh pic.twitter.com/vYF1liRarc

(We also love how it looks like one of the little waterfall men is jumping into the milk bottle on the sign):
I’m going to have to try this place someday.

The cafe is described as a “colourful, nostalgic eatery with more than 120 cereals, plus a selection of milk and toppings”.
It was created by Irish twins Alan and Gary Keery, who told the Independent newspaper last year they’d had “huge interest” from across the Middle East, with a Dubai sheikh even visiting one of their London cafes.
Here are some peeks at what the new outlet in Dubai Mall looks like (and what’s on the menu):
