Other passengers and crew members treated to memorable performance of song about coconuts

Here’s something you don’t see every day. Passengers aboard a recent flight from Kenya to the US were treated to a spontaneous musical performance by members of the the Baylor University School of Music Men’s Choir.

The 75-member strong choral group sung a spirited rendition (complete with a dance routine!) of ‘Da Coconut Nut’ by Filipino band Smokey Mountain as a thank you to Emirates crew members.

The Dubai-based airline took to their social media to share a video of the performance:

Emirates thinks it’s “the best song ever on coconuts” and while we’re inclined to agree, we’re still a bit more partial to the original.
