Still haven’t done your Christmas shopping yet? Never fear, there’s a massive sale currently going down in Dubai which should give you the perfect opportunity to get in some last-minute present buying.

Running from now until Sunday 17 December across halls 5, 6 and 7 of the Dubai World Trade Centre, shoppers can expect discounts of upwards of 80 per cent on some pretty big international brands including DKNY, D&G, Versace, Boss, Guess, Crocs, Aldo, Nine West and more.

Entry is free and the sale runs 10am to 10pm every day, with the tagline ‘Beat the VAT’ clearly designed to entice residents to get out and spend before January 1 when the price of goods in Dubai is expected to rise by 5 per cent across the board with the introduction of a Value Added Tax on many items.

This sale is just ahead of the Dubai Shopping Festival which will see Dubai undergo a month-long citywide discount craze when it kicks off on 26 December.
