K-Pop supergroup EXO are taking over the Burj Khalifa this weekend
A three-minute sound and light show featuring the band’s song Power will be projected on the facade of the world’s tallest building…
Back in January, K-Pop supergroup EXO were added to an elite roster of artists whose music accompanies the dazzling spectacle that is The Dubai Fountain show at Dubai Mall.
And it looks like the Korean heartthrobs about to receive an even bigger honour, as the same song, Power, will now be the soundtrack to a three-minute sound and light show to be projected on the facade of the world’s tallest building.
While it’s unclear what exactly will take place when the show goes live at the Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai on Saturday, July 14 at 8.10pm, the above teaser image has been doing the rounds on social media and has, understandably, got EXO fans more than just a bit excited.
It’s really amazing I’ve never seen anything like this on Burj Khalifa !!!!

Sadly, it seems unlikely that the boys themselves will be making an appearance for the big reveal. The National reports that they will be performing in Seoul on the same evening, whereas they were actually present for the Dubai Fountain reveal earlier in the year.
No word yet from Emaar on whether the show will be livestreamed but we recommended keeping your eyes peeled to the #EXOBurjKhalifa hashtag on Saturday evening if you can’t get down to Downtown Dubai to see it in person yourself.
