They’ll be joined by Nervo, R3hab, Salvatore Ganacci, Brooks, Dante Klein and Marcus Santoro this November…
Big news for EDM fans, dance music heavyweights Afrojack, Alok, Don Diablo and Nervo have all been confirmed to perform at the first ever ‘BAO’ festival in Dubai later this year.
The two-day festival will see a massive mashup of Chinese culture and EDM music land at Dubai’s Meydan Hotel on November 29 and 30.

Brought to you by Envie Events (who put on other big EDM festivals such as Unite with Tomorrowland and Sensation), BAO festival is promising two days of ‘music, dance, fashion, food, carnival, culture & leisure – all celebrating the Chinese culture and its long-standing relationship with the Middle East’.
No stranger to Dubai, Dutch DJ Afrojack was last in Dubai performing alongside Rick Ross at d3 super club Base. At the EDM festival in Dubai later this year, he’ll perform alongside Brazilian DJ and producer Alok, who makes his Dubai debut. You might not recognise Alok by name, but his 2016 smash hit ‘Hear Me Now’, is one you’ll definitely be familiar with. To date, it’s been played more than 255 million times on YouTube. Last up is Don Diablo, a Dutch DJ and singer who’s worked with everyone from Martin Garrix to Calum Scott.
The artists will be joined by female DJ duo Nervo, and the already announced R3hab, Salvatore Ganacci, Brooks, Dante Klein and Marcus Santoro.
With an original promise of ‘more than a dozen EDM artists’, we’re still expecting more huge names to be announced soon.
