A first look at the visuals for 99 Sushi Bar’s new outdoor lounge show that it will be a minimalist and retro space, perfect for sundowners in the cooler months or a cheeky after-work drink.
But not just about the drinks, when 99 Sushi Bar’s new lounge opens, it will be the perfect opportunity to dig your chopsticks into their new menu. If you’re unfamiliar, this is a spot that’s locally renowned for high-grade seafood, such as their Atlantic bluefin tuna, uni and caviar. But the menu has been revamped with some exciting and spicy additions.
99 Sushi will be expanding its menu to include mouthwatering wagyu, Kobe, and robata BBQ. Carnivores can indulge in Wagu Maki, Wagu Tartar and Wagyu Skewers… items that will tempt even the most devout veggies. All our plant-based readers will be happy to know that there are new vegetarian option available. Delicate veggie tempura and vegetable maki will go perfectly alongside a festive drink.
Highlights from the drinks menu
Crafted in an East-meets-West Hong Kong style, the beverage menu infuses Asian flavours and fragrances. Their “French 99” cocktail is a fusion of gin, sake vanilla and homemade thyme, topped with prosecco, blue curacao and grenadine syrup.
With a drink in your hand, you will be all set to bop and boogie to their contemporary jazz house tunes spun by the DJ all night long.
Sushi, drinks and a view: you don’t need much more to have a perfect evening.
