Dubai is certainly back in the full swing of things when it comes to artists performing, concerts, festivals and gigs There are so many performances taking place, that even we are struggling to keep up. If you’re looking for comedians or theatre acts, click here. Otherwise, stay because there are 12 artists and counting coming to Dubai this October.

Here are all the artists performing in Dubai this October.

Project 174 

There is something quite edgy about going to a hotel parking lot for a rave. Although this would be the type of event that our parents potentially would have warned us against, here we are booking tickets and walking into a wonderland of Drum ‘n’ Bass with the headliner none other than Andy C who has been making that bass go boom since 1999.

Defected Records

This is far from something we’d ever abandon – in fact, we were quite literally on the e-mail list for the ticket release. The TikTok audio “Bus, club, ‘nother club, another club, plane, next place” will be the entire crowd at Defected Dubai this October, because honestly Lady Gaga – we feel you. Defected Dubai will be heading up three different venues across the city from October 12 to 15 for three days of uninterrupted, head banging, arm shaking, untz untz beats.

KISS

A name that was once synonymous with a certain evil someone, that came from that decidedly bad place *points at the ground repeatedly* also cemented itself, ironically, as a household name. Kiss, the All-American Rock ‘n’ Roll group that was formed way back in the 70s is hitting the Coca-Cola Arena this October, on Friday the 13^th (spooky.) If you’re wondering about the black and white painted faces, the simplest answer we can provide you with is that their own uniform just stuck, comparably to how acrylic paint would stick to clothing.

Sean Paul

Suh mi give it to ‘em. He was DJ Khaled before DJ Khaled was a thing. Think of a Sean Paul lyric and what comes to mind? “Sean-Da-Paul” ­­– at least that’s what we instantly think of. He is the Dancehall genre personified, pioneering the genre into mainstream music and we are so grateful for the Jamaican rapper. He will Get Busy on Saturday, October 21.

Denzel Curry

From the land where the most implausible and yet probable chaos ensues ­– looking at you “Florida man.” Denzel Curry was originally part of a rap clan known as Raider Klan before leaving to release his first album Nostalgia94. He has since released a total of 14 albums and will now be heading to Bla Bla on Tuesday, October 12.

Lost Frequencies

After releasing the global smash hit Are You With Me in 2014, Lost Frequencies skyrocketed to fame and was the first Belgian to hit number one on the UK charts. He will be headlining Bohemia at Beach by Five at Five Palm Jumeirah on Saturday, 7 October from 1pm.

Dizzee Rascal

What’s up, darling?  A legend in the Grime world, who would like to let it be known that he is far from Bonkers in fact so much so that the only form of addictive substances he likes to use are that of the musical, Bassline kind. Dizzee Rascal is taking on Emirates Golf Club on Saturday, October 28. You can guarantee that we will be dancing with him. The superstar has also been known to enjoy a heavy metal magazine or two in his time… Maybe he’ll be spotted at the Kiss concert?

Robin Schulz

He does love Dubai. Robin Shulz will be back and headlining Bohemia, on Saturday, October 14 from 1pm. You’ll know Robin Schulz for his tracks such as Waves, Sugar and Miss You. Known for his tropical house vibes, he can count David Guetta and Justin Bieber among his former collaborators. His newest track Rockstar Baby, has taken a more upbeat and electronic vibe.

Khalid

This is one performer we weren’t expecting, but were very excited to see pop up on he Dubai calender. You may know him for his hits including Location, Better, and Young Dumb and Broke. The R&B artist, Khalid will be taking on the Coca-Cola Arena for a soulful and stunning night.

Craig David

As part of a new season of lineups at the iconic beach club, Barasti, Craig David will be gracing the shores. At this point, we should all know who he is. The singer was last in Dubai for a killer performance at The Dubai Rugby 7s. He is known for countless tracks including Walking Away, 7 Days, and Rise and Fall.

The Boyz are Back

Think of your favourite British nostalgic boy band – If Wham! Westlife, Boyzone, Five and Blue all come to mind, you’re in luck. Three (technically four) of our favourite Brit Boybands are heading to one of Dubai’s oldest and best-loved venues on Friday, October 13. Boyzlife, Blue and Five will have you squealing the same way you did when you were a teen once again.

Macklemore  

Macklemore (pronounced Mack-LE-more) first rose to fame with his track Thrift Shop back in 2012 which has since amassed over one billion streams on Spotify alone. Ben (see his most recent album and government name) has since gone on to release four other albums, including his most recent album which is titled after his government name
