Each month, we ask residents to share a guide to the UAE through their eyes, from their favourite places to family-friendly spots they adore, must-try restaurants and standout attractions.
This month, we chat to Loujain Adada (@loujainaj), entrepreneur, mother and star of Dubai Bling. Here she shares some of her favourite spots that you need on your radar.
Eat here
I love Nobu, the high-end Japanese restaurant at Atlantis, The Palm. I fell in love with the style and atmosphere of the restaurant – and the food is fantastic too. I like to go with my daughters. Another restaurant I love is Fouquet’s, it has the best French food in the city and reminds me of Paris and Cannes where we usually spend our summers. And I love Lucia’s for Italian food.

Stay here
Atlantis The Royal is my favourite place for a UAE staycation – I’ve been so many times with my kids, we consider it our second home. We’ve shared many happy memories at this resort. For family getaways, be sure to check out Aquaventure. It’s the world’s largest waterpark and has loads of fun attractions.
Chill here
One of my favourite places to chill out in the city is Summersalt beach club at Jumeirah Al Naseem. You can often find me here on weekends, catching up with friends and enjoying a fun, relaxing weekend.
Go here
Everyone should visit Dubai Parks and Resorts. There are two theme parks and a waterpark in one, so it’s great for families as there’s a variety of attractions for all tastes and ages.

I head to W Hotel – Mina Seyahi when I want to disconnect and get pampered. I like their Bar-B spa and gym – I’m very enthusiastic about working out. It’s not only healthy for the body but also good for the mind, it helps you relax. At the end of the day, health is wealth.
Road trip here
I recently discovered the charms of Ras Al Khaimah. It’s a unique part of the UAE and full of adventure. Visit the Hajar mountains for active attractions such as hiking, zip lining, and cycling; or the stunning beachfront resorts to relax.
