Updated on 14 October 2025

Global Village Dubai: Arguably one of the city’s biggest attractions in the season, with a foot count that we are glad we don’t have to keep a tally of. The ever-popular venue is back open this week for the winter season with Season 30.

It is always hustling and bustling with tourists, residents and those who know their way around like the back of their hand.

For some, it can seem like a daunting endeavour (we feel you) which is why we have put together the ultimate guide to Global Village Dubai – to make things easier for beginners.

Getting there

All roads in Dubai lead to Global Village and your guide cannot begin without knowing how to get there.

The bus: There are five RTA bus routes to Global Village.
Bus 102 from Rashidiya Metro Station.
Bus 103 from Union Metro Station, passing through Al Rebat Street.
Bus 104 from Ghubaiba Bus Station passing through Al Jafiliya Metro Station.
Bus 106 from Mall of Emirates Metro Station passing through Al Barsha A2, Al Barsha Lulu Supermarket, Dubai American Academy 2, Classic Crystal 2 and Al Quoz, Clinical Pathology Services 2.
Bus 107  from Al Nahda 1 Bus Station

The service runs from 3.15pm – 11.15pm daily, with 30 minutes of travel time

If you’re driving down the E311, there is a designated Global Village exit that I’m sure your GPS won’t allow you to miss. There are various parking areas with both free and paid options

For taxis, use Careem, Uber, Bolt or RTA Taxi.

Tickets for Global Village Dubai

For tickets, you can either prebook online or buy at the gate, tickets will cost Dhs25 for weekdays and Dhs30 for weekends. Weekday tickets are valid Sunday to Thursday, except public holidays. Entry is free for people of determination, children under three and adults over 65.

Eat and drink

As far as food and drink goes in Global Village we are quite literally spoilt for choice, from food on skewers to pasta in massive parmesan wheels, burgers and beyond. Let’s also not forget about the incredible desserts waiting to be discovered.

You can find a majority of the food stalls scattered around the place, however, the main foodie areas we recommend checking out are Happiness Street, Railway Market, and the Floating Market.

Attractions at Global Village Dubai

More than just a wonderful place to explore, Global Village constantly has fun and entertaining acts for the whole family to enjoy.

There’s a theme park with a Ferris wheel that is hard to miss – arcade games and a haunted house as well as mini golf and much more. If your stomach can hack it, Ripley’s Believe it or Not (as seen on TV) is home to over 250 weird and wonderful installations for you to check out.

How could we possibly forget that Global Village Dubai is also home to some spectacular fireworks displays that typically take place every weekend?

Recently added to Global Village is a fun mini-golf attraction. It offers up two golfing experiences, a challenging 9-hole course and an exciting 18-hole course with neon lights and can be found inside Global Village’s Mini World.

New attractions for Season 30

This season, The Gardens of the World debuts as a landscaped promenade of floral displays and landmark icons that runs from the Egypt pavilion to the Iran pavilion. It is designed for slow strolls and family photos, a calm counterpoint to the usual whirl of shopping, shows, and snacks. You will also spot digital wayfinding screens across the park, plus the new S30 Passport and stamping stations in every pavilion for souvenir hunters who like a collectible with their karak.

For a dose of fantasy, step into the Dragon Kingdom, an immersive, puzzle-packed walkthrough with 11 themed rooms. Guests journey through the world of Blackstone Hollow to help Ignis, the last dragon, recover his power by cracking clues from enchanted forests to fiery caverns. It is part escape room, part storybook, and a neat excuse to bring older kids and grown-up gamers along.

Little ones get their own new playground with The Little Wonderers at Carnaval®, an indoor adventure park opening later in the season. Expect multi-level obstacle courses, ball pits, neon-lit slides, and a glow-galaxy vibe that will burn off energy before bedtime.

The entertainment heart of the park gets a lift, too. The Main Stage area has been completely transformed with more capacity, an all-new look, and elevated production for bigger live shows. Around the site, you will notice new ticket counter screens, LED directional signage, refreshed landscaping, and upgrades to Dragon Lake, including a new giant underwater display screen and enhanced fire effects for the iconic dragon centerpiece.

Arrivals get a glow-up with new arches at the Sharjah and Abu Dhabi entrances and a re-themed Sharjah Tunnel. Foodies can graze even wider with an expanded Fiesta Street, the Railway Market reborn as Dessert District with nostalgic style, a refreshed Indian Chaat Bazaar, and the return of Road of Asia as Asia Boulevard. Count more than 200 dining options across the park, from street eats to global bites.
