Snapped: Celebrities spotted in the UAE this week

The stars were out in force…

It’s been a star-studded week in the UAE, with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix drawing some serious A-Listers hitting our shores. Here are all the celebs snapped in the UAE this week.

Brad Pitt

Action movie icon Brad Pitt has been spotted at several Grand Prix races this year, as he films for his upcoming F1 film due to be released next summer. So, we were happy to see that Abu Dhabi will provide a backdrop for some of the scenes, as Pitt was spotted walking by the, er, pits, clad in the racing tracksuit of his fictional Apex GP team. This is the second time the movie has filmed at Yas Marina Circuit, so we can’t wait to see it next year. It’s due for release in July.

Lewis Hamilton

Of course, the biggest sporting event of the year brought all of the F1 drivers to Abu Dhabi this week. And while they delivered plenty of on-track action, it was the sweet snap of almost all of the drivers dining together at their end-of-season dinner that gave us all the feels. Arranged by Lewis Hamilton, this year the group dined out at Zuma Abu Dhabi, with Valteri Bottas picking up the bill.

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham

The eldest of the Beckham kids, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and his wife Nicole Anne have been in Abu Dhabi for a few days while soaking up the atmosphere at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The pair weren’t just snapped at the racetrack though, as images shared on social media showed they also enjoyed a trip to the desert, where they posed up a storm while riding a camel.

Eminem

Rap legend Eminem headlined Saturday night’s Yasalam after-race concert, and brought 90s nostalgia to the sold out crowd at Etihad Park.

Mary J Blige

Singer Mary J Blige was another attendee at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix over the weekend. But she didn’t just head to the racetrack. She told fans on Instagram that she’d been spending time in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and shared a series of snaps from her visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Jake Paul

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has been spending a few days in the emirates, keeping his 28 million Instagram followers up to date with what he’s been doing. And that included a scenic cycle in the UAE capital, with his girlfriend Dutch Olympian Jutta Leerdam sharing pics from their date day.

Peggy Gou

After bringing the noise to Etihad Park as the opening headliner for the Yasalam after-race concerts, Peggy Gou stuck around to enjoy the race weekend in Abu Dhabi. She was spotted on Sunday at CE LA VI’s rooftop takeover with friends.

Lucien Laviscount and Nancy Ajram

Who knew these two knew each other? Emily in Paris star Luicen Laviscount was the guest of honour at a yacht party hosted by Kilian Paris fragrances on Friday night, but stuck around for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend. He was snapped sharing a laugh with legendary Lebanese singer, Nancy Ajram.

Terry Crews

Actor Terry Crews was one of a number of celebs spotted enjoying the F1 atmosphere in Abu Dhabi this weekend. But the weekend did come with a bit of work too for the xx actor, as he presented the Pirelli Pole Position Award to Lando Norris ahead of the final race.

John Terry

Away from the F1 and back in Dubai, former England footballer John Terry has been enjoying a relaxing holiday at a luxury resort in the city. His wife Toni Terry shared a series of snaps of the pair on the beach and posing poolside at Jumeirah Al Naseem.

Arturo Vidal

Chilean footballer Arturo Vidal was in Dubai on holiday this week, and happily posed for a picture with the team at Signor Sassi when he dined at the St Regis Gardens hotspot.
