We check out the Middle East’s biggest trampoline park, which opens in Dubai this Saturday…

Flip Out Dubai in Al Quoz will quite literally have you jumping for joy.

Opening on March 22, Flip Out will be the region’s largest trampoline park, with more than 200 interconnected trampolines over 40,000 square feet, with 10 trampoline-based attractions including a main arena with obstacles, trampoline penalty shootout, 3D wall running, trampoline dodgeball and volleyball court, trampoline basketball, half-pipe trampoline wall-running, foam pit, SuperTramp and double-decker kids’ area.

Oh, and foam-tipped archery tag.

We went down there this week, here’s what we discovered…

Flip Out have two fully immersive themed archery tag fields – a first of its kind in Dubai, filled with big foam boulders, wooden towers, and crates for cover.

One of the fields is jungle-themed, while the other resembles the Capitol from The Hunger Games.

Combining the elements of dodgeball and paintball, archery tag is a six-a-side sport that requires you to eliminate the other team by well… shooting them.

To keep things jumping (pun intended), Flip Out have a permanent DJ booth which will host a mix of local and international DJs, and if you’re tired, grab a drink and a bite in the upstairs café.

It’s not just a ‘rock up and jump’ park though, the employees are more than happy to teach their guests flips and tricks, with Flip Out’s staff all being qualified gymnasts, parkour professionals, trampoline specialists or experts of new urban movement techniques.

The park also has a shower section for freshening up after a sweaty sesh’.

An hour-long session at Flip Out will cost you Dhs70, or Dhs60 for ‘little flippers’ (children under 110cm or 5 years and below).

Archery Tag bookings cost Dhs70 for the first hour and Dhs50 for each additional one.

Flip Out may be a little hard to find, but it’s located in Al Quoz 3, and is walking distance from Noor Bank metro station…
