Fancy a film? The movies out in Dubai cinemas this week
Our top pick of the movies out in cinemas this week is Swiss Army Man, a bizarre yet artsy and fantastical flick featuring Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano.
Here are all the new flicks you’ll be able to go see from today…
Swiss Army Man
“Yer a swiss army knife, Harry”. This rather insane, yet incredibly imaginative film features Paul Dano as a man stranded on desert island and Daniel Radcliffe as a corpse. What? Paul Dano is close to ending it all before Radcliffe washes up, and the two swiftly become the best of pals – heading off on an epic adventure that’ll reunite Dano with the woman of his dreams. We’re not going to lie, it actually looks really good.
Don’t Breathe
Guys, if you rob a blind man that’s just asking for karma to turn around and bite you. In Don’t Breathe, three Detroit thieves break into a blind veteran’s house with the belief that he’s an easy target. It seems the trio got more than they bargained for, as they soon realise that blind man don’t play nice.

Mechanic: Resurrection
Everyone’s favourite bald, cockney action guy returns as The Mechanic: in the latest installment he’s tasked with completing a near-impossible list of assassinations of some of the world’s most dangerous men. Psh. Easy. Who cares if he’s pushing 50, age is just a number when you’re diving off a helicopter.
A Flying Jatt (Hindi)
A somewhat superhero movie that centres around a man named Aman, who is the son of a late Sikh warrior yet is afraid of heights, let alone fights. After acquiring superpowers in a near-death experience, Aman becomes a force for good and coins the name Flying Jatt. However, a villain arises – Raka – and Flying Jatt takes it upon himself to stop him.
