Sheikh Mohammed's new book will teach us about happiness
An English version will be available soon…
Remember how HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai spoke super candidly about everything from Trump to female empowerment at the World Government Summit a couple of weeks ago?
Well, it turns out there’s plenty more where that came from.
The ruler has just published a new book full of wise words titled Ta’mulat fi Asa’adah Wl Ejabia, which translates to Reflections on Happiness and Positivity.
Currently the book, which launched over the weekend, is only available in Arabic, but an English version is set to be released in the coming weeks.

According to the Emirates News Agency, the book “includes lessons, examples and stories based on a different life philosophy: Positivity as a perspective, and happiness of people as a goal and a lifestyle”.
“The positive leader is the one who closes his eyes, imagines the futures and sees the achievement that he wants to achieve,” the royal writes, according to Gulf News.
Sheikh Mohammed also reportedly explains the UAE’s transformation into an international tourist destination, and his thoughts on politics and dealing with politicians.
On Twitter, the ruler said his aim was that the book would create hope in the Arab world.
It’s not the first time the royal has put pen to paper. Sheikh Mohammed is actually an accomplished poet, with some of his earliest work published under pseudonyms, so readers could judge the poems on their own merit.
He has since published further collections of poems under his real name, as well as an autobiography titled My Vision.
