UK trip-hop pioneers Morcheeba to perform at Dubai Opera
Expect to hear all your favourites plus new tracks from their forthcoming studio album
Not content with just sticking to the classics, Dubai Opera has really upped its game in 2018, landing some cool bookings that you’d otherwise never expect to see in Dubai.
And now, they’re adding trip-hop pioneers Morcheeba to that list.
The UK band will be bringing their trademark ethereal electronic/pop sound to the Dubai Opera stage on Wednesday, October 31 in support of their upcoming ninth studio album ‘Blaze Away’ due out on 1 June.
Morcheeba rose to prominence in the early 2000’s with tracks like Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day and Otherwise, with two of their albums reaching the UK top ten.
The band’s original lineup consisted of vocalist Sky Edwards and brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey. Paul has since left the band but the remaining members will be in Dubai to perform a selection of classics and debut new tracks from their forthcoming album.
Dubai Opera is currently offering a 20-per cent discount on Early Bird tickets starting at Dhs120 until 24 May.
