Visiting the UAE's tallest peak just got a whole lot easier
A new shuttle bus service to Jebel Jais has launched for just Dhs20…
Chances are you haven’t yet taken the opportunity to visit Jebel Jais, the UAE’s tallest mountain. It’s definitely on our “must-do” bucket list of the country’s coolest attractions thanks to it being home to the world’s longest zipline and fantastic 360-degree panoramic views.
The fact that it’s located in Ras Al Khaimah, however, can make finding the motivation to trek all the way there a bit of an effort.
Good news then, that the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has launched a new shuttle bus service that makes getting there a whole lot easier.
RAKTDA announced that everyone will have easier access to Jebel Jais with the launch of the shuttle service. Operating from RAK City Centre, Al Hamra, Al Marjan Island, the shuttle will make the Zipline and the Viewing Deck Park more accessible. https://t.co/SbsJxrh5f9 pic.twitter.com/tdW1f739hr

Departing from three locations in our second favourite emirate – Ras Al Khaimah City, Al Hamra area and Al Marjan – the Dhs20 bus will take you right to the peak of the mountain, where it’s reportedly around 10-degrees cooler than the rest of the country. Something we could all do with right about now.
Tickets can be booked in advance via the official website, or onboard the bus itself. And if you don’t feel like driving to RAK yourself, you can catch another shuttle bus (this one is free!) from Dubai International airport to any of the main hotels in RAK.
