This art class by Louise Duggan will teach you new techniques, create mindfulness and overall is a relaxing and fun experience. The good news is that you don’t need any experience at all. Louise will be there to guide you every step of the way ensuring you leave happy and with a masterpiece in hand. How does it work? Well, you pick from a selection of images and Louise will help you work on the image and will teach you methods to make it your own. The art class on September 26 is from 6pm to 9pm and costs Dhs400 (all the materials are included in the cost). Go with a friend and the cost will be Dhs350. Tuck into delicious food at a licensed South East Asian eatery
Sedap Asian Street Kitchen is a new licensed restaurant that has opened its doors at Dubai’s Al Seef. The menu is packed with food from the bustling streets of Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Dishes on the menu include succulent satays with crunchy peanut sauce and BBQ sambal seabass or squid from the grill, famed black pepper or chilli mud and flower crabs and more. For little ones, there’s a dedicated kids’ menu including options like veg-packed stir fry noodles, breaded chicken nuggets and fish fingers.

Head to Dubai Safari Park for the new season
As Dubai finally enters the cooler season, several popular outdoor attractions reopen their doors to the public – Dubai Safari Park is one of them. Visited before? You may want to revisit as the park’s family has expanded with 111 newborns of different animal species. There’s even an interactive show with birds the whole family will love. Additionally, for the first time, the park is now offering a behind-the-scenes experience that allows visitors to get closer to the animals, learn about their habitat and how they are cared for. Find your zen with Yoga in the Sky
In a world where everything is fast-paced, it’s always good to take a little time out for yourself. Taking place at a staggering 69 floors high, stunning SLS Dubai has launched a ‘Yoga in the Sky’ where you can stretch and soak in the views of Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa. Prior to or after the class, you’re invited to use the temperature-controlled pools and enjoy the spa facilities such as the steam room, sauna and spa (where you can avail 50 per cent off selected spa treatments). Laugh your heart out with Russell Kane at Dubai Opera

British comedian Russell Kane is returning to the city for a headline show at Dubai Opera. The funnyman is known for his appearances on Live At Apollo, Celebrity Juice and I Am Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now. Guests are guaranteed unlimited laughs throughout the show, and we imagine after a year of not being able to get up on stage, Russell will be on top form by the time he touches down in Dubai.
