The I Will Survive hitmaker will perform at the Sustainability Plaza on Tuesday March 29…
There may only be three days of Expo 2020 left, but that doesn’t mean the world’s greatest show is turning the volume down just yet. Gloria Gaynor, who will forever be loved for her 1978 belter ‘I Will Survive‘, is coming to Expo 2020 Dubai this week. The R&B diva, who can also count tracks like ‘The Eye Of The Tiger’ among her repertoire, will perform at the Sustainability Plaza on Tuesday March 29.

The concert forms part of the Expo Street Music line-up, which has previously seen stars including Bonnie Tyler, Boney M and The Village People at Expo 2020. The Grammy award-winning star is set to perform at 8.30pm.
As always, entry to the performance is free for those with a valid Expo 2020 ticket, and is based on a first come, first serve basis. Visitors are advised to arrive in plenty of time.
Gloria Gaynor previously performed at Dubai Media Amphitheatre on New Year’s Eve in 2014, headlining the Ultimate New Year’s Ever MasterJam’, alongside The Jacksons, ‘I’m Every Woman’ star Chaka Khan, and disco queen Kathy Sledge.
Gloria Gaynor isn’t the only music star taking to the stage at Expo 2020 Dubai this week. On Thursday March 31, pop sensation Christina Aguilera is set to headline the Expo 2020 closing ceremony, alongside global music icons Norah Jones and Yo-Yo Ma. The Closing Ceremony is set to begin at 7pm with the young Emirati girl from the Opening Ceremony, Mira Singh, taking the audience on another compelling performance at Al Wasl Plaza. The celebration will continue into the night, with full headline concerts from each artist across Jubilee Stage and Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre.
