RTA announces partial closure of Al Maktoum Bridge
Plan ahead to avoid delays…
Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority has announced a partial closure of Al Maktoum Bridge.
The bridge will be closed from Monday to Saturday, from 12am (midnight) to 5am for a total of five weeks.
The transport authority cited no reason for the partial closure which is expected to be until Saturday, May 13, 2023.
#Reminder: Please use alternative routes to reach your destinations easily, coinciding with the closure of Al Maktoum Bridge from Mondays to Saturdays, 6 days per week, until Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 12:00 am to 5:00 am.

In a tweet from the official transport authority account, alternative routes were suggested: Al Garhoud Bridge, Business Bay Bridge, Al Shindagha Tunnel and Infinity Bridge.
The news of the Al Maktoum Bridge’s partial closure comes a few weeks after the RTA announced the closure of Floating Bridge for maintenance.
Dubai Floating Bridge will be closed for major maintenance works until Monday, May 22. The 16-year-old bridge crosses Dubai Creek and connects Deira to Bur Dubai.
