UAE weather is finally cooling down with a touch of rain in the forecast

UAE weather is finally set to change after months of soaring temperatures, with the mercury dipping this week. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) also predicts a chance of light showers in some areas, offering a welcome break from the heat as the country eases into the cooler months.

Sunny with a few clouds

Most of the UAE will enjoy plenty of sunshine, but clouds may gather over the eastern coast in the afternoon, particularly in Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah. These clouds could bring short, light showers, offering a brief relief from the heat.

Light to moderate winds

Winds will generally be light to moderate, with gusts up to 35 km/h at times. These breezes may lift some dust in open areas, so caution is advised when spending time outdoors.

Temperatures gradually dropping

Daytime highs will remain warm but are easing slightly, ranging from 38°C to 42°C in most areas. Coastal regions will feel cooler at 34°C to 39°C, while mountainous areas may reach 25°C to 30°C. Night time temperatures will be more comfortable, between 20°C and 26°C.

Rising humidity and early morning fog

Humidity is expected to increase overnight and into the early morning, especially along the coast where it could reach 90%. This may lead to mist or fog, so drivers should be cautious. Inland and mountain areas will remain fresher with lower humidity.

Calm seas for water activities

Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will stay calm, making it a perfect time to head outdoors and take a dip in the water.
