The 25th anniversary celebrations continue…

For the past month, we’ve seen tributes to iconic TV show Friends all over Dubai, from a replica of the famous sofa on display, to the theme song being played at the Dubai Fountains. It’s all in aid of the 25th anniversary since Friends first aired in 1994.

As the celebrations continue, Vox Cinemas have announced they will screen iconic episodes from across the show’s ten series. It will be the first time the sit-com has been shown in 4K on the big screen.

According to The National, the chosen episodes will be shown across three separate days and include: The Pilot, The One With The Black Out, The One With The Birth and The One Where Ross Finds Out on Monday, October 14.

On Saturday, October 19, fans will be able to see The One With The Prom Video, The One Where No One’s Ready, The One With The Morning After and The One With The Embryos. And finally on Wednesday, October 23 you’ll see episodes including: The One With Chandler In A Box, The One With Ross’ Wedding – Part 2 and The One Where Everyone Finds Out.

You’ll be able to catch the screenings at Vox Cinemas in Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif and Kempinski Mall of the Emirates. Tickets will be priced as with normal cinema entrance, depending on your selected seating, starting from Dhs36.75.
