Brunch & Cake is the cult Insta-worthy cafe that originated in Barcelona (where there are queues of people trying to bag a seat every day). Fortunately for us Dubai residents, there are now three branches of Brunch & Cake in Dubai: the original in Al Wasl; Brunch & Cake by the Sea at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah; and Brunch & Cake by the Lake at Jumeirah Islands. A venue proudly owned by fishermen, Ibn Al Bahr is a treasured Dubai restaurant for its affordable menus and fresh seafood, that is now home to a daily breakfast – perfect for waking up by the seaside. Loved for authentic Lebanese flavours, Ibn Al Bahr has aptly called its new breakfast deal Fisherman’s Breakfast by the Sea. The shores of Palm’s West Beach recently welcomed Maison Mathis, from its original location in Arabian Ranches. This relaxing family restaurant is on the ground floor of the recently opened Voco Hotel, with a terrace and french doors that can open up the restaurant completely. Expect breakfast favourites with pastries, waffles, delicious homemade breads, cooked breakfast, avocado on toast and much more. With the view of the glittering ocean on west beach, we can’t think of many other spots that are more dreamy than this one.

This longtime beach club is super popular with families and those who enjoy the more relaxing side of life.
