Laugh your heart out at Dubai Comedy Festival
The bone-tickling comedy festival has returned to Dubai running until April 21. The comedians will be performing at the Dubai Opera and the Coca-Cola Arena – two of the biggest stages in town. So far, Gad Elmaleh and Kenny Sebastian have performed but there are plenty more LOLs to come courtesy Al Murray, Chris Distefano, Amer Zahr, husband and wife duo Spencer & Vogue and Mo Gilligan and more. Hang out with the gals at Couqley
We love Couqley for many reasons: their steak frites, the brilliant business lunch, their well-priced wine list… but the ladies’ night has to be one of the best value deals in the city. It’s available at their cosy bistro in JLT and the sleek brasserie in Pullman Downtown and takes place every Thursday, and you’ll pay just Dhs127 for a main course and free-flowing wine from 7pm to 11pm. Foodie options include their signature steak frites, mushroom risotto and grilled salmon, plus you can upgrade to add a starter for Dhs39 or a side for Dhs33.
